What people are saying about Discipline without Disrespecting and Grandma Jeddah
As a mother of three children I have read quite a few parenting books both by muslim authors and educationalists. Also coming from a teaching profession I have read ample books on managing children’s behaviour. What really attracts me to this book is the depth of research carried out, this is clearly visible in the way the author presents practical scenerios and examples of different methods. This is quite a well-researched book where you can learn skills based on secular as well as Islamic points of view. Moreover, she has also written about special children and how to discipline them. Unfortunately, most people in general, are not really aware of the needs of special children.

I know I don't need to tell you how much our community- and even the non Muslim community needs this. Jazaki Allahu khayran (May God reward you) for all of the families you will help and potentially all of the children who will be spared from un-necessary abuse. May this message spread all over our country!

Subhaanallah, you've done a wonderful job. I like the organization and the advice and all with the Islamic references. May Allah reward you greatly.

" I must say, this is a wonderful read. I, as the reader, feel as though I'm listening to a close friend giving me advice. As I read through the Special Needs section, I came across so much beneficial advice that all parents can benefit from, not just those of children with special needs. I only hope that others, with or without special needs children will take the time to read through this section. It all appears to go back to the parent wanting the best for their children by setting up an environment conducive to rearing a well-rounded, self-content, self-reliant individual."

It is as usual a pleasure to hear from you. I took notes of your very useful and comprehensive advice and will implement them in the near future, insha'Allah. What else can I say, well JAZAKHALLAKHEIR for taking the time to answer my query. May Allah reward you immensely, and I will keep you in my duas, insha'Allah.

I truly loved it, MaShaAllah. I was extremely pleased to see that you reminded us of two very important points, 1. To ALWAYS pray for our kids. Raising children is not easy, we NEED Allah's help in this area as in all others. And the other is the adult tantrum. Through the years I have learned that my children hear me better when I do not yell, not to mention they understand better too.
May Allah, The Exalted, bless you for your endeavors and may our Muslim families and communities grow stronger and stronger.
